Hilana decided to make a statement tonight on National Television and knew immediately  what she would wear: She would go in her simple jeans with those remarkable black buttons instead of a zipper; black pumps, a classic fitted black blazer that accentuated her figure so nicely, and that tasteful white long sleeve Tee that will send her message  for the complete 50 minutes, while she is on screen.

Hilana is a talented theater and movie actress who had worked with several renowned directors. But she also featured in many TV shows which made her also known by the general public. Because of her success, she was invited as a guest-sidekick of a nationally well-attended talk show on primetime on a regular basis. Not only did she have the freedom to co-host the show according to her own taste, but she also got the opportunity to open the show with a subject that has struck her the last few days.

She considered herself a victim of her own success, she figured. As an actress she is well respected by anyone who matters, but since she has become a featured celebrity in tv shows, she had ‘first-hand experience’ of being attacked on twitter by the ‘left’ whenever she said something based on ‘common sense’ or threatened by the right when she expressed something…..sensible. The fact that news outlets ‘double down’ by appealing to the most visceral emotions of their viewers, like disgust, anger or fear, and creating and maintaining tribalism that way, gave her the sense something was fundamentally wrong with society.

And now she had enough. The morning before the broadcast she went to a print shop with her t-shirt and the request to print her quote. The rest of the day she searched for the words she would use for her introduction of tonight’s show.

And on the “Moment Supreme” she told her story about Trolls, Twitter & Tribalism. She made clear most of us-people of the right and of the left- feel imprisoned by that atmosphere, and that we should do something about it. And then she opens her blazer, so everyone could read her message.
