Fashionably dressed ladies and gentlemen leisurely pursuing the pastimes of hunting and fishing; nowadays activities more controversial than in 1769, but depicted on this bag, a lust for the eye. The two scenes are the height of textile printing in the eighteenth century. A new copperplate printing technique allowed for finer modeling of forms than the traditional woodblock printing.

The print was intentioned for furniture, but goes well on our bag. For the good order, we used a copy of the print. You will appreciate the aesthetics and skills of a time long past, but with your bag you will bring an old treasure back to the attention in daily life.
